Merry Christmas Weekend. We hope this has been a good weekend for each of you.
We will meet on Friday evening at 7:30 for a time of fun and celebration to bring in the New Year. Please bring finger foods, snacks, etc., to share and join us in the fun. We intend to bring in the New Year with Prayer and Praise, so plan now to join us!
Communion will be celebrated next Sunday morning during our Morning Service.
Caroling... We will be having a very busy day next Sunday. After our morning service, plan to meet back here at 2 PM (weather permitting) to go caroling. If there are people you would like to have us carol, let Pastor Dave know who they are and what their address is.
Soup Supper... We'll return to the church from our time of caroling for a soup supper around 5 PM. Please bring some finger foods to share with those who join us.
Children's Christmas Play... after our soup supper, we'll be meeting in the sanctuary for some more singing and the Children's Christmas play. We look forward to having you join us next Sunday.
Candle-light service Christmas Eve at 6:30 PM.
Play practice will be held on Wednesday evening at 7 PM. All children involved in the play will need to be here. We will also be holding a dress rehearsal on Saturday morning at 10 AM. We'll also be holding a Christmas party for the kids of our congregation after our rehearsal (around 11 AM). We hope to see your kids there.
Next Sunday, weather permitting, we will meet here at 2 PM to go caroling, returning around 5 PM for a soup supper and our children will be presenting their Christmas play afterward (around 6:30 PM). We hope to see you here.
Our college students will be traveling home this week. Please pray for their safety.
Communion will be participated in this morning during our worship service. Please allow the Lord to prepare your heart as we take part in this celebration of the remembrance of our Lord Jesus Christ.
An offering will be taken this morning in order to help provide for special missions.
Our Adult Christmas Banquet is tomorrow evening. Table arrangements have been made and if you're not sure who your table host is, talk to Beth or Michele. The meat will be provided, with an offering taken to help with the cost. Please bring two side dishes to share with those who join us. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow evening.
Mark your calendars for December 19. That will be a busy day as we have our Morning Service, caroling at 2 PM if the weather permits, a soup supper at 5:30 PM, followed by a Christmas play performed by our children. Parents practice times for our play are: Wednesday, December 15, at 7 PM; dress rehearsal on Saturday, December 18, at 10 AM. We are also planning a small Christmas party for the children on Saturday, December 18, after our rehearsal is over. Please plan to pick you children up no later than 12:30 that afternoon.

Bible study and Prayer times will resume this week. Bible study is on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM, and we meet together for prayer on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7, and at 6 PM on Saturdays.
We would like to congratulate Derek, LaurieSue, and family on the birth of Noah, October 5. We would like to congratulate William, Margaret, and family on the birth of Amanda, October 26. We thank the Lord for the safe delivery of both these children. Mothers and babies are doing well.
A huge thank you to each person who has helped with meals for these two families, as well as for Jo. Your help has been greatly appreciated by all those involved.
We enjoyed having the group from Kirksville, MO with us last week and spent a great time together. The Lord will continue to work His desire in the hearts of each of those he touched.
Benefit for Joshua's Storehouse... An "All You Can Eat" breakfast will be hosted by the VFW Post at 1800 Bryan Stock Trail on Sunday, November 7, from 8 AM to 11 AM. Cost is $5 for adults, $2.50 for children 12 and under.

October is officially "Pastor Appreciation Month." Last week we told you we would take an offering for Pastor Dave and Beth today. Please use the time before we take this offering to thank the Lord for this opportunity to show our appreciation for our Pastor and his family through giving, as well as prayer for them as often as the Lord brings them to mind.
Lunch fellowship will take place today after our Morning service. We'd like each of you to join us. Please bring a main dish and a salad or a dessert to share with those who come. If you are unable to bring food, join us anyway. We always enjoy having these times together.
Steve Youngblood, of Kirksville, Missouri, will be meeting with us Tuesday through Thursday this week. We'll begin each evening with praise and worship at 6:45 PM and then begin services at 7:00 PM. Prayer and Bible study times will not be held Tuesday - Thursday, but we will meet for prayer at 6 PM on Saturday, and hold our times of prayer and Bible study as usual next week.

Faith Assembly is hosting "Heaven's Gates and Hell's Flames," a drama production from Ontario, Canada. The drama will be held this evening at Faith Assembly of God, 4301 Casper Mountain Road, at 6 PM, as well as Monday and Tuesday evenings beginning at 7 PM. Tickets are complimentary.
Times of Prayer are being held here at the building on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7 PM, and Saturday evenings at 6 PM. New Beginnings Bible Study is meeting in Pastor Dave's office at 7 PM on Wednesday evenings.

As a result of the time we have spent praying together over the last few weeks, we feel that the Lord is leading us to increase our times of meeting for prayer to Tuesday evening at 6:30, Thursday evening at 7, and Saturday evening at 6:30. We'll be meeting here at the building during these times and encourage you to join us.
Our "Week of Prayer" continues tonight with our Evening Worship service at 6 PM. We'll be meeting Monday through Saturday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 here at the church to spend time in prayer. Evangelical Free Church is hosting an evangelistic Prophesy Conference from September 26-29, with Dr. David Larsen as the guest speaker. The conference is titled "Nearing 2000: The Shape of Things to Come". Meetings will begin Sunday, September 26, at the 8 and 11 AM services, and will begin at 7 PM each evening. A free will offering will be received, and a nursery is available for children under age 5.
The Caring Center will be hosting their 10th Annual "Who Cares" banquet on Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Casper Petroleum Club, from 6:30-8:30 PM. Mr Gary Swant will be speaking. Ticket information is available by calling The Caring Center at 473-2273. New volunteer training for The Caring Center will be held October 21-23. March for Jesus is coming up this Saturday. If you want to march from NCHS, meet at the stadium at 10:30 AM. If you want to participate in the prayer for the medical community, meet at Conwell Park at 9:30 AM. The prayer will take place at 10 AM, then participants will walk from the park to the stadium and march with the rest. This will be a great time of prayer, singing, and recognizing the Lord who walked for each of us.

March for Jesus will be held on Saturday, May 22, 11 AM. NCHS Stadium is the meeting place to begin the march, with people beginning to meet at 10:30 AM and the march starting at 11 AM. A group will be meeting at Conwell Park across from the hospital for prayer at 10 AM, then will walk from the park to the stadium to walk with the others. The medical community is the focus this year, so as you are driving past the hospital or happen to be in an area of medical staff, please be praying for staff and patients.
We will be celebrating communion next Sunday, May 9, instead of this morning as Pastor Dave and Beth are out of town. Bob will be teaching this morning, Derek will be teaching this evening and Bob will be teaching the children.

The annual meeting will be held Friday from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, followed by prayer. Please be in prayer with us this week that the Lord Jesus will give the direction He wants for us.
Pastor Dave has called for a time of fasting, beginning Monday morning and ending Sunday evening, as we meet together for prayer. If the Lord impresses you to fast, some will be fasting all food, drinking only water and juice; others will be fasting meat, sweets, dairy products and caffeinated drinks.
