Wedding time... There will be a shower for Heidi on Thursday, December 19, at 7 PM at the Limmer's. For gift ideas, they are registered at Target and Wal-Mart. We would like to prepare a recipe collection, and ask that you bring a favorite recipe. Please use recipe cards that are available through Alisha and Jen. A spice collection is also being put together. The "spice" idea list is available with Jen.
The men will meet at the church at 6 PM on Thursday, December 19, to spend time in fellowship with Justin. Make sure you mark your calendar!

Home Groups: These are exciting days in Restoration Church as we endeavor to follow Jesus to the fullest measure of His calling. As we prepare ourselves for the changes that have been announced in the home group schedule we are excited to see what God has in store for us. The Leadership Team will be picking up the responsibility of over-seeing individual home groups as well as training up the next tier of leaders that will be working with them. We will be going to a rotating schedule in order to best fulfill this mandate of training and bringing foundational understanding to the body as quickly as possible. Home groups will be held across the city on Wednesday, December 11 and December's corporate meetings at the church will take place on December 18 and 31. Child care will be provided at the church on the evenings we meet here; Home Groups are responsible for setting up childcare for their own groups when we meet in our homes. Contact your Home Group leaders for more information.
A Dinner Theater is being hosted by the RCA children on Saturday, December 14, from 6-9 PM. Today is the deadline for signing up; if you want to attend please be sure to sign the sheet in the foyer. Seating is limited so we're asking you to sign up only your immediate family for the evening. Someone will call this week to assign food items for the meal; if you don't receive a call by Wednesday, December 11, please call Michele at the office. If you are decorating a table, the doors will be open between 2-4 PM; food items need to be at the church no later than 5 PM.

A food drive is being sponsored by Central Wyoming Rescue Mission (CWRM) and Safeway Stores. CWRM needs help filling their pantry to serve the many hungry that come to them, especially during the winter. They have provided local churches with paper grocery bags which have needed items printed on them. The idea is to purchase items listed on the grocery bags (available in the kitchen), then deliver the bags to the Central Wyoming Rescue Mission, 230 N. Park, or drop them off at the box next to the customer service desks in the Safeway stores. If you have any questions, please call Kris at CMRW (268-4474).
The Caring Center is collecting old cell phones to raise funds for the Center. If you have a deactivated portable cell or PCS phone (no bag or vehicle-installed phones please), phone batteries, or chargers, and would like to donate them, please drop them off at The Caring Center (100 W. "B"), the Flower Gallery, Highland Park Community Church, or KUYO Radio through December 31.

Our Fellowship Lunch is this afternoon at 2:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Please bring a main dish and a salad or a dessert to share with those who join us. The Junior and Senior High students will be serving us as they did during our last lunch. We appreciate the work they have been doing for us as they serve. Bible times fun day is being held for the RCA students and anyone who would like to join us on Wednesday, November 27, from 4-6 PM in the church Fellowship Hall. Come dressed as your favorite Bible character and join us for games and food.

Restoration Church Academy would like to thank each of you who have been giving your time for our students. Some are helping on a daily basis, others are coming down for a part of each day to help with supervision during lunch, and others are helping with specific classes. This is so needed and appreciated. Several companies have donated desks, chairs and computers.
Right now we are finding that we could use some specific things for the school.
If you're able to help in any of these areas, please let Pastor Randy know as soon as possible. Thanks!

Tapes of services are available each week through Sandy G. She is making copies of the message on Sunday following services for those who have been helping with the children. If you would like a copy of a particular tape, please write your name and the date of the message in the notebook on the bookcase. A donation of $3.50/tape would be appreciated if you are planning to keep the tape; a $2.00/tape donation would be helpful if you plan to listen to the tape and return it.
We would like to thank each of you who have been taking kitchen towels and cleaning rags home to wash. If you still have any at your home, please return them to the kitchen as soon as possible. Please help us keep the building clean on a regular basis by cleaning up the floor and emptying the trash in the kitchen, bathrooms, and nurseries after each meeting.

Bill Yount, the retreat speaker for the Wyoming Aglow Fall Retreat, will be speaking at Casper Open Bible Church tonight at 6:30 PM. Everyone is invited to come. Worship services will be led by John and Annie K's group, "The Community of Hope."

Rock the Planet, a Youth Conference... The teens and adults will be leaving for Kirksville, Missouri, tomorrow and will return on Saturday evening. Register by calling 307-322-2659. There is no cost, but two offerings will be taken.

Their Graduation services will be from 3:30-5 PM and a carry-in dinner will be held at the 4-H building at 5:30 PM. We are pleased to present our 2002 home school graduates:
Crystal completed her studies in the spring of 2001. Her accomplishments have been in gymnastics, softball, and track. Twice she made state finals as a sprinter bringing home first place in her last year of competition. She has participated in various aspects of outreach and ministry throughout her eighteen years and is considering Bible college in the fall.
Ryan enjoys all sports, especially football. For the past two years he has been playing the drums for the church and youth worship teams and is currently learning how to play the keyboard. He has a love for children and has enjoyed participating in children's church ministry. Ryan plans on attending The School of Worship Arts at Northeastern Missouri Bible College in Kirksville, Missouri this fall.
Aaron enjoys ranch life and has been gaining life experiences through raising cattle and sheep and training horses. He has been leading the children's church ministry and has been a leader for the Friday night Explosion youth meeting. He plans to attend Northeast Missouri Bible College this fall where he will be mentored in his life calling of service to God's people.

Faith Assembly is hosting "Living a Life of Purity", a Youth Rally, this evening at 7 PM. The evening will include personal testimonies, youth-led music, and skits on the topic of sexual purity and abstinence until marriage. Parents are encouraged to attend with their Junior and Senior high young people. Our young leaders are especially encouraged to attend and support Andrea as she'll be giving testimony. Sharper than any double-edged sword, the Word of God is living and active, and this dramatization will penetrate the hearts of those who witness it.
