I was born January 1, 1979, into a believers' family in India.
Since my parents who were farmers could not afford my studies, I had to quit school in the fourth grade. Thereafter, I was forced to work to support my family. As I was away from my parents, I took advantage of the freedom and started mingling with a bad company. When the manager in the company where I worked came to know about my evil behaviour, he dismissed me. This incident made my life miserable, and I was scared to go home because I knew that it would break the heart of my parents who were relying on me for financial help.
At such a crucial juncture, I had no other choice than to trust in God for peace. So I went to a church where a believer helped me to understand the real meaning of the gospel truths and the Jesus' death on the cross. There, I realized my sins and the need to accept Christ. Few days later, I had a chance to attend a youth conference where the Holy Spirit deeply convicted my heart. As a result I repented and acknowledged the Lordship of Jesus Christ following which a soothing peace and joy flooded my life. Later I was baptized in water.
The Lord helped me to give up my bad habits, and soon after this born-again experience I began to witness the love of Jesus to the unsaved souls. I had a great desire to serve the Lord full time, but was awaiting His perfect guidance. Soon in confirmation of the divine call, I submitted myself and joined a Bible college for the systematic study of the Word.
I work as an evangelist in Nepal where the Hindus are a majority. The various ministries by which I spread the gospel are personal evangelism, house visitation, home prayer fellowships, tract distribution, and church-planting work.
Please pray for me that I may fulfill God's plan to expand His kingdom.

This missionary is currently in training in one of our Gospel for Asia training centers. Soon after graduation, this trainee will be working full time to reach the unreached and to plant churches. While preparing for the ministry to which the Lord has called them, all trainees receive practical, hands-on experience in pioneer evantelism, including literature distribution, and sharing the Gospel one-on-one and in open-air meetings.
