Ranch life has many different faces, as there are cows, sheep, and horses on the ranch. One may see a variety of different ranch activities during their visit. Spring is an especially fun time as one will see lambs, calves, and foals as they are born on the ranch.
River Bend Ranch boasts a wide variety of landscapes, from mountains and red rock walls, to the restfulness of the North Platte River and a desolate wilderness.
You can expect to see antelope, deer, eagles, fox, waterfowl and occasionally elk on the ranch. With an abundance of wildlife, there is potential of hunting antelope on the premises with proper state licenses. Guided hunts for elk and deer can be arranged.
Avid fishermen head straight for the North Platte River, a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream. Three large lakes within 30 minutes of River Bend Ranch also offer seasonal boating, waterskiing, canoeing, and float trips.
